I am different. I am a 50/50 switch. That places me in a minority of spankos. I am married to a switch – that puts me in an even smaller minority. We have both played with others, putting us into rarified territory.
The way I am paddled is probably different than your method.
Remember this when reading OBB, as my experiences almost certainly differ from yours.
For instance, I have an erection from the moment I know I am going to be paddled. It stays with me throughout the paddling. The paddle licks are hard, but I have a few seconds to recover between licks. If I were paddled fast and furious, it would go from pleasure to punishment, and my boner would get lost. So I don’t go there.
Put another way, I would not take a spanking if I were not aroused, as the pain would not be pleasant.
This is a survey that shows that most men only get aroused after a spanking. So, I am in the minority on that. [Scroll down and see the 65 answers to question 22. PS I have never leaked anything at any time. Do these men have an STD or prostate problems?]
I will illustrate how I come to a spanking with two old Nu-West photos
How to prevent pleasure
According to the survey, the way most men come to a spanking
the first picture I am thinking kneeling between her open legs, spank, spank spank–stroke it like the third pic (without the caption ugh) I have seen a gif like that–
I am also a 50/50 switch but a bit different. The bottom side of me loves to dance with the Disciplinary aspect 50% of the time. Whether or not I have a boner during the spanking is less important. That said, I actually HATE a disciplinary spanking when its happening. But, afterward, the same warm feelings return. (I dunno go figure)
When its for play, I love a long build up to the actual spanking, and it doesn’t take too long, if spanked slowly with firm swats of the paddle, to become erect if I’m not already. There are many scenarios I run in my head that make it more erotic. The funny thing about this is, my wife and I have tried a few of these scenaros IRL and they just don’t seem to work.
Regarding the pics, Oh yes #1, 2, and 3 and #7 . There is something about #2, the look on her face, her hair style and the over all feeling she is enjoying this. #7 This is a great shot. She is standing ready to apply a very stingy paddle and he has recently cum or lost his erection.
Thanks for sharing Bogey!!
I like #2. She is damn happy (and she is getting paid) I would like to dance with her, but just not OTK.
#7, no boner, we must be talking about dinner, not me going OTK.
I like #2 also and would love to “dance” with her often. and most defenatly let her trap my tattle tail between her thighs
There is a sexual and hormonal dimension that is highly complex. An earlier set of comments from contributors suggested that spanking after sex was definitely more painful, which suggests that hormone activity prior to sex is key to spanking being pleasurable. The effect of this hormone activity will differ from individual to individual, which could partially account why the moment of erection differs. This approach does not take into account the psychological effect of spanking.
There may be little doubt that the expectation of the experience of a spanking plays a strong role in the reaction to it. If the expectation of a punishment is pain and humiliation then that may be the sole effect. If the expectation is that punishment will act as a sexual stimulation, then it may do so. This point is also suggested by a contributor in another comment.
But as you say there is likely to be a pain level above which the fight or flight reflex kicks in and the fun stops. The tipping point could be influenced by a range of circumstances. The relationship with a spanking partner must also play its part.
The joy is not trying to analyse too much, because as with everything else we are all different, not only from one another, but even in ourselves depending on age, social comfort, health etc
My personal experience has encompassed the full range of these variables, over decades of spanking, and several spanking partners.
Well said, sir. While you have experienced the ranges, I have only experienced pain in school and pleasure as an adult. Perhaps I have a few extra molecules of some chemical in the blood, which gives me pleasure rather than pain.
